This policy explains how CalmiZone uses cookies and similar browser storage technologies. It supplements our Privacy Policy, which identifies the person responsible for processing and explains your rights, service providers and international data transfers.

What cookies do

Cookies are small files stored in your browser. Similar technologies, including local storage and tracking pixels, can remember choices or record interactions with a website.

Your choices

Our cookie banner offers Accept all, Decline all and Preferences. You can select optional categories individually. Declining optional cookies does not prevent you from shopping. Necessary technologies remain available for essential functions such as the cart, checkout, security and recording your privacy choices.

To change or withdraw your choice, use Cookie settings. Withdrawal applies to future processing and does not affect processing carried out lawfully before withdrawal. You can also delete existing cookies through your browser settings. Deleting privacy-choice cookies and browser storage may cause the banner to appear again.

Categories

  • Necessary: essential store functions and saving your consent preferences.
  • Analytics: understanding visits and interactions with the shop. Analytics data is not necessarily anonymous.
  • Marketing: measuring advertising and supporting relevant advertising or marketing interactions.
  • Personalisation: remembering optional preferences and previous interactions.

For EU visitors, optional storage and access require consent under section 25(1) TDDDG; associated personal-data processing is based on Article 6(1)(a) GDPR. Strictly necessary storage and access fall under section 25(2) TDDDG. Further processing grounds are explained in our Privacy Policy.

How your choice is stored

Our custom banner saves the selected categories and a timestamp in the first-party cookie cz_consent_v1 and in local storage. The cookie lasts up to 365 days. The banner stops using a local-storage choice after 365 days. Your choice is also passed to Shopify's Customer Privacy API.

Service providers

Shopify provides the store infrastructure. Our Privacy Policy contains information about analytics and advertising services including Google, Meta and Pinterest, and about Klaviyo for newsletter and onsite functionality. The cookies used by a service depend on the features in use and your consent choices. Provider documentation is available from Shopify and Klaviyo.
